WHO YOU ARE

As a technical lead you are responsible for transforming the design and product vision into a seamless and delightful Wealth Management platform. You dedicate time to stay on top of the fast changing tech space and invest a lot of energy in learning new skills.

You are caught up on industry trends in web development frameworks, DevSecOps, serverless computing/architecture, and cloud technologies along with building skills to anticipate what the near future will bring.

You love clean interfaces and have a real passion for extraordinary user experience.

Furthermore:

• You bring 10+ years of experience with Spring Boot Microservices and Java Hibernate/ORM

• You are skilled in writing JAVA based batch processing, REST, SOAP, Web application Security.

• You are skilled in working with one of the modern JavaScript frameworks (React or Angular)

• You have a strong understanding of REST APIs and how to use them in practice.

• You have strong understanding of relational database concepts and have exposure to PL/SQL.

• You have experience with continuous integration and collaboration tools like JIRA, Bitbucket, GitHub, and Confluence.

• You have strong experience with unit testing and test automation tools and frameworks like JUnit, Jasmine, Jest etc.

• You have experience in Domain Driven Design

• You have good Understanding of Cloud design principles

• You have good experience with Data, BI and Analytics, ETL, and other Corp App platforms.

• You have exposure to writing UNIX/LINUX scripts

• You have experience in collaborating with team to identify and fix technical problems

• You are comfortable leading a small team for troubleshooting and resolving Production issues Our tech stack: Spring Boot Microservices / Java Hibernate/ ORM / ReactJS / Kafka / JMS / Junit / Oracle / DataStage / Pivotal Cloud Foundry

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Technical lead on the Private Passport Team, you will be an integral part of one of our nimble and agile cross-functional teams innovating an entire industry. We cherish and nourish our diverse and inclusive culture and welcome you to help us further grow our community. We are actively exploring emerging technologies in AI, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, Blockchain and Decentralized Finance to elevate dozens of products and services which millions of customers use.

As a technical lead,

you will:

• Work closely with other developers to design and develop functional, performing and complete features, systems and APIs

• Constantly look for better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution by not being afraid of challenging the status quo

• Work with other developers on the team, specifically with code reviews

• Mentor junior developers on the team and coach them to step up their performance.

• Decipher existing software systems and platforms and hook in applications to applicable data sources

• Support & manage application teams on mission critical initiatives.

• Communicate clearly with a range of people at different levels of the organization and explain and discuss technical issues using a range of styles, tools, and techniques

• An ability to act quickly, pragmatically and assertively under pressure to prioritize and resolve technical issues

• Support & manage Wealth Management transformation journey to migrate applications to cloud

• Support and own ITSM change management process for team deliverables and coordinate with external teams. Work with Production support team members to identify dependencies between deployments to production

• Support Private Passport team in creating and managing DR plans for every sub system and coordinate with Production support on the execution of periodic tests
