The key responsibilities of the role include:


Responsible for overseeing and coordinating day to day tasks for Loan Operations process within the EO Loan Operations.

Work within the Operations function for a range of Wealth Management and CNIS clients.

Ability to understand customer requirements and apply different servicing approaches to meet the ultimate goal of client servicing.

Responsible to Book New Accounts, Commitments, Notes, Maintain and Service the loans once they are setup on FIS – Metavante. 

Daily monitoring of workflows for Foreign Exchange, syndicated agented dealings, direct client loan requests, general ledger reconciliation, manual fee bills and repricing’s.

Builds a strong depository of the Operations and Domain knowledge in the team
Oversight of the processing performed by the processors.

Ensures Day to day SLA & Quality parameters are met. Checklists are prepared and submitted to the supervisor on a daily basis.

Should  handle, escalate & resolve queries in a timely manner.

Creates process updates/ workflows pertaining to business & process.

Performs root cause analysis of errors and suggest/ implement controls in consultation with the Supervisor/ Manager.

Provides training sessions to new joiners and existing partners in the team.

Identifies and implements  process improvements in consultation with the Team lead/ Manager.

Should be able to think out of the box and have analytical skills to resolve complex issues.

Participates in Audits/ BCP exercises and to help the supervisor to ensure awareness in the team.

To assist the supervisor/ Manager in conducting Risk/ BCP/ Compliance awareness sessions.

Should be able to multitask and handle pressure situations.

College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred. Related Industry qualification / or studying towards, is preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Analytical and problem solving skills are required / preferred.
Knowledge of risk management and mitigation practices is preferred.
Thorough understanding of Banking procedures and regulations is required.
Be able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision.

Excellent written & oral communication skills with strong analytical skills.
Builds strong relationships with partners on site/ across business lines/ juniors and seniors.

Strong focus on problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalates issues as appropriate.

Able to execute dialogue with Agent Banks for any communication. 

Strong understanding of Risk, Audit and Compliance factors.

Candidates having good knowledge of Loan products would be preferred.

Should have in depth knowledge of troubleshooting techniques to resolve exceptions and queries resulting out of processing.

Knowledge on applications like FIS - Metavante, Northern Image, eRM and Remote Payment Initiation & Inquiry would be preferred.
