General Position Description:

This position is for NA shift only.
The incumbent is expected to be a responsible professional with a view to be associated with the process and business area and display commitment for an extended period of time.

 

Responsible for supervising activities in the Alternative Investments group(s), would include assisting in the performance management process and providing input for staff and disciplinary actions to the respective Section Manager.  Acts as a subject area expert and directs activities of staff. Develops and maintains specific subject expertise and advises businesses management, and relevant third parties. Responsible for supervising the process/ partners to achieve and exceed the SLA’s

 

Major Duties:

• Responsible for supervising a process within the Alternative Investments group(s), including the assistance in monthly one on ones, performance management process and providing input for staff and disciplinary actions.  
• Develops and maintains specific subject expertise in the product and process
• Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work. 
• Ability to identify error or risk prone areas & build robust controls to mitigate the same
• Regularly reviews process documentation assuring that changes are documented on a timely basis
• Exhibits hands on approach & deep appreciation for excellence in execution at all times.
• Organizes/ Conducts process training sessions for new joiners/ existing partners during the month along with team building activities
• Develops and leads a team which is responsive to dynamic organizational and operational changes. 
• Supports the management in fostering a High Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment.
• Ensures expectations on SLA's/ Checklists/ Daily reports and monthly reports are adhered to
• Ability to handle, escalate (wherever required) & resolve issues in a timely manner


Knowledge / Skills required
• Excellent written & oral communication skills
• Proven leadership and people management skills. 
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners on site/ across business lines/ juniors and seniors
• A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate. 
• Ability to use creative problem solving techniques to solve business issues.  
• A client focused approach  
• Knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and an exposure to MS Access
• Exposure and understanding of  Risk, Audit and Compliance factors

  

Experience Required

Industry experience of 6+ years Preference would be given for candidates who has 1 to 2 years of team leader experience and should be open to work in night shift.

Demonstrate through examples /evidence, the above listed core skills and competencies in the current role over a period of at least 24 months AND overall industry experience of 6+ years.

This role requires flexibility to move to Pune in 6-12 months.
