Job Description:
IT Wealth Investments is seeking a Senior Program Leader for our Wealth Investment applications.  The successful candidate will be excited about developing digital solutions that build valued relationship with our clients.  The candidate will significantly evolve the capabilities of the organization and cultivate an environment of innovation and transformation in how Northern Trust Wealth interacts with our clients. 

The complexity and criticality of this work require an individual who brings deep application delivery understanding, new innovation in the financial industry and acumen with senior leadership. Mastery of Agile Scrum roles and artifacts that can communicate and teach processes effectively.  The role requires significant experience in program & project management and change initiatives; covering such areas as product development, IT, client service, and operations.   

Required Skills
Comfortable in a leadership role on high profile programs
Have effectively managed a large budget while keeping deliverables on time and within budget
Early identification of delivery issues and risks, and a sense of urgency for removing blocks
Understand and manage team dynamics and know how to coach and grow a high-performing teams
Sensibly challenge the status quo
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree, Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering Preferred
With the Product Owner, lead Agile release planning and manage the release backlog
Coaching the team in Agile relative estimation techniques, cross-functionality and self-organization
8+ years of project delivery experience
At least 5 years of Agile experience in a Scrum Master role
3-4 years’ experience in financial services, particularly Wealth Management desired
Managing and growing Business / IT relationship at a strategic level
Leading by example - knowing when and how, to push for more results
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with high energy and a positive, winning attitude
Self-driven, innovative and pushes for high-quality measurable outcomes

Desired Skills
Delivery experience with Flow-Through-Processing, MarkLogic would be a plus
Knowledge in Continuous Integration/Deployment and Container automation
Ability to provide recommendations supported by Proof for Concepts (POC), Vendor evaluation & other methods that substantiate the proposals and recommendations
Advocate for the Agile Scrum delivery methodology amongst project team and client stakeholders
PMI Certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP) a plus but not required
