This role is a combination of responsibilities of Product Management and Product Development. Responsibilities include executing the strategy of the Product Umbrella as outlined by the Lead Product Manager, Head of Product Management, and Product Executive; managing Product Management Lifecycle activities; and providing leadership and oversight in the development and implementation of new and enhanced products.

  • Develop market insight by defining the target client segment markets, evaluating industry trends/competitors and defining a market story
  • Formulate strategy for the product by aligning cross functional teams, uncovering opportunities and determining life cycle states
  • Shape the value proposition, develop the business cases and define the marketing mix model as part of the new product planning process
  • Lead the introduction of new products to the market and provide post launch product management activities such as post launch audits, metrics, etc.
  • Create strategies for cross-product coordination and carry out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and /or ambiguous issues
  • Provide sales support through RFP response including presenting at client and prospect meetings
  • Provide project management, leadership, and oversight in the development and implementation of new and enhanced products
  • Perform product development of new or existing products including managing projects, synchronizing operations, and managing scope and trade offs
  • Provide leadership through development, implementation, and rollout
  • Create project plan, business requirements and test scripts related to the project
  • Work closely with IT and Operations areas to assess processing capabilities of changes on existing systems and operations and to determine the measures required for development and implementation
  • Monitor capital and expenses

Requirement

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of product management or product development or related experience.
  • Experienced in constructing/overseeing logical and conclusive presentations
  • Understanding or knowledge of applicable NT product and an understanding of client needs and how this impacts the product development agenda/roadmap
  • Good in building key relationships, influencing and negotiating with clients, partners and leaders across multiple disciplines
  • Program or project management experience is required to include planning, analysis, design and governance
  • Knowledge of business strategy development is necessary to provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment
  • Organizational skills are required to support the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff Knowledge of product development is usually acquired through related work experience is required to coordinate the development of products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
