SummaryThis post will play a critical role in helping NT maintain pledged loans to the Federal Reserve Bank’s Borrower in Custody (BIC) program.  The role requires a combination of loan documentation skills that will help with file review and analytical skills to design and monitor changes that affect whether a loan is eligible to pledge.  

Major Duties:

  • Monitor and update the Bank’s BIC process and monthly reporting to Treasury and the FRB
  • Help plan and execute the strategic direction of the BIC program moving forward
  • Communicate results within Loan Ops, as well as with Treasury and the loan origination and documentation teams
  • Leverage system and technical knowledge to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity of the program
  • Work with teams across the organization to understand and improve end to end loan processing

Knowledge / Skills

  • Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and business knowledge
  • Understands commercial and residential loan documentation needs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • In-depth functional / industry knowledge is required
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to work with partners at all levels
  • Ability to understand the technical aspects of systems and match them to the specific needs of the business unit
  • Organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff

Experience Required:

The successful candidate will have both loan documentation and analytical experience.    S/he has developed a comfort level working with all levels of an organization, and achieved the ability to identify and correct both systemic and human inefficiencies that affect production.  The candidate has worked with both external vendors and internal systems, and can influence change in both areas to eliminate inefficiencies and drive process improvement.
