Summary:

As a member of Enterprise Change Management, the individual filling the Senior Consultant, L&D position may work independently or collaboratively with a team to deliver training solutions on various processes for change events such as system roll outs. The Senior Consultant, L&D defines learning and organizational development objectives that support articulated business outcomes. Designs, develops and delivers learning solutions. Analyses learning and organizational development solutions for continuous improvement. Undertakes appropriate operational and administrative aspects of project management.


Major Duties:
 Consults with all levels of management to translate business requirements into learning and organization development strategy.
 Acts as project manager for major, complex and high-profile learning and organization development initiatives directing the activities project team members, coaching them to deliver top quality products.
 Develops and implements learning solutions that support business goals.
 Develops and facilitates/delivers learning and development solutions according to management priorities.
 Analyses and evaluates training and organizational development solutions effectiveness and makes recommendations for improvements.

Area Specific Duties:
 Designs and develops curriculum which can be implemented and delivered regardless of geographic location.
 Coordinate/delivers curriculum, within your location and remotely to other geographic locations.
 Ensures that learning and development interventions are aligned with Business Unit and/or enterprise-wide needs.
 Consults with business partners to provide on-going support.
 Works collaboratively with other training teams.

Experience


•3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level.

•24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.


Requirements include:

 Expertise in instructional design concepts of design, facilitation, development and evaluation
 Experience in project management as it relates to leading a training effort in change event learning projects.
 Mastery of software and applications tools including Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Word, and Articulate 360 or Adobe Creative Cloud
 Self starter and team player

 Eight to ten years’ experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training and performance improvement programs.


Candidates might be asked to submit a technical writing sample, either procedures or training documentation or develop and present a short training session.
