Provides administrative support for an assigned PCA, Wealth Advisory or commercial banking division. Responds to client inquiries, resolving all types of operating problems and processing requested transactions. Coordinates set-up of account services for personal and commercial clients and monitors reports. 

The key responsibilities of the role include:
1. Supports banking relationship managers in serving clients with their account needs. Service clients with a full range of personal banking activities including but not limited to deposit and lending. Respond to inquiries and assist with resolving problems. Interacts with partners in various areas to ensure accurate set-up of new services.
2. Processes daily transactions as required by the client such as loan payments, requests for funds under established lines of credit, money transfers, tax payments, and banking transactions. Performs depository duties, loan processing, and/or pays and monitors overdrafts, contacting clients as required. 
3. Provides maintenance and growth on assigned portfolios by cross selling and identifying credit and investment needs of clients. Cross sells bank wide products and services to clients by expanding the personal banking relationship, NTSI, etc.
4. Demonstrates expertise in the Setting up all types of client accounts and services. Is fully capable in coordinating loan documentation for complex loans with the appropriate support areas. Reviews documentation for completeness and follows through to eliminate documentation deficiencies relating to loans and deposit accounts. Process transactions for accounts, and resolving related operational problems. 
5. Keeps abreast of all new products and services to respond to client questions.
6. Is well versed in the compliance requirements for new accounts and relationships. Monitors compliance reports for adherence to policy and procedures. 
7. Maintains effective filing system to ensure responses to all inquiries and follow up action. Develops and maintains tracking system to monitor projects and their disposition. 


The successful candidate will benefit from having:
  • 5 years of related experience in bank operations as a Relationship Associate or office environment. 
  • Expertise and knowledge of private or commercial banking products and services usually obtained through experience as required to service client needs. 
  • Knowledge of advances usually obtained through coursework or experience is required to process account transactions and loan related documents.
  • Knowledge of the operational areas usually obtained through experience is required to identify sources of information to resolve account discrepancies.
