The key responsibilities of the role include:


Operates under general supervision but works on own most of the time.  Serves on large and/or complex projects.   Technically competent to act as first point of reference for day-to-day queries, and serves as a liaison to related areas.  Has both broad and in-depth knowledge in chosen field, plus strong knowledge of related areas.  


Carries out relatively complex, extensive, high profile activities e.g. direct interaction with committees and more senior management.  Demonstrates excellent analytical, consultative, communication and judgment skills.  May lead projects and/or train lower-level staff.  Focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expert.

Advanced technical skills in finance and risk analysis, in particular, risk quantification and portfolio management.


May lead projects and/or train lower-level staff. 


Focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures in the function, building towards becoming an area expert.


Operational risk control.


Reviews for accuracy and legality of the transactions coordinating with PM’s outside managers, brokers, traders, etc. regarding trading issues. 


Resolves any mismatched or failed trades that are outstanding in the system.


Assures systems are working properly, system updates are properly tested and trade data quality.


Prepares and distributes reports to management.


Assist in resolving bank/asset reconciliation issues.


Initiate process improvements and test new functionality of systems.


Monitors and process wires as needed.


Monitor ledger suspense and research wire activity.


Perform Asset and Cash Reconciliations.


Monitors P&L, accounting, and related reports for the bank’s investment portfolio.


Contributes to daily money market activities.

The successful candidate will benefit from having: 


Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance or business administration
Three or more years of related business experience.

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (V-look-ups and pivot tables) and other business related software systems such as PeopleSoft, Bloomberg, Mainframe applications and Data warehouse a plus.

Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. 
Demonstrates excellent analytical, consultative, communication and judgment skills.
