Summary
Under general supervision (may work independently most of the time) responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategic marketing plans to support the business unit sales and marketing efforts. Responsibilities including writing content for various media, developing marketing materials, managing industry/conference event plans, and working with Corporate Marketing, PR , and outside agencies etc.  to achieve business unit objectives. Works closely with business, product and sales partners to manage priorities, define messaging and measure performance of marketing initiatives.
Major Duties

1. Operates independently and has knowledge of business unit/function. 
2. Develops and edits marketing materials specific to institutional asset servicing products and services; determines the theme and content and coordinates the development of materials with corporate and outside design firms. 
3. Works with subject matter experts to create content for various media and purposes to promote company’s experts and products/services.
4. Works with various groups to plan and manage participation in industry conferences at various sponsorship levels. Works with Corporate Marketing to plan and manage company-hosted client and prospect events. Coordinates conference materials, developing and preparing agendas, brochures, and other collateral on asset servicing products and services.
5. Works with Marketo, the marketing automation program, and other marketing tools to manage marketing programs, track metrics and report status and ROI of campaigns. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools – Powerpoint, Word, Excel.
6. Works both individually and collaboratively on projects. 
7.  Assists in other ad hoc projects and assignments
Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of marketing concepts usually acquired through university degree and related work experience required to develop marketing plans. Knowledge of the financial services, asset servicing and/or asset management industries preferred. Creativity, writing  and solid project management skills are necessary to develop and implement marketing campaigns.

Education: 1-3 years of marketing and communications experience, including financial services experience.
