Responsible for developing new relationships for the Bank and broadening relationships with existing clients:

·         Source and develop new relationships to the Bank. Identify prospects and develop marketing strategy to meet growth targets while adapting to regulatory and general industry conditions. Cultivate relationships and generates leads with established COIs and other referral sources.

 

·         Services a portfolio of existing relationships and cross sells other products and services offered by the Bank with the goal of developing a comprehensive wealth management relationship to include investment management and fiduciary. Cultivates relationships with new and existing clients to enhance profitability of credit and deposit services for the Bank.

 

·         Applies knowledge of credit policy, banking products as well as risk management in serving clients. Responsible for structuring and negotiating complex loan and/or lease agreements according to established corporate credit policy guidelines:

 

o   Analyzes and negotiates the pricing and terms of loans, lines of credit, interest rates swaps and other credit instruments according to guidelines set by the Credit Policy Committee. Negotiates and oversees the preparation of all necessary documentation.

o   Interact with various operating committees and senior management.  Balance high level operational execution and development and implementation of strategic business activities.

o   Serve as a subject matter expert and provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to our lending team at a high technical level.


5 -10+ years in a commercial lending or private banking environment with financial analysis and client servicing experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of the banking industry, competition and credit markets acquired through formal education, credit training or relevant experience is required. Knowledge of investments, trust and financial consulting concepts to identify cross selling opportunities is preferred.  Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills, the ability to thrive within a team based environment, and adaptability within a dynamic industry environment are essential to success in this role.
