About Project Management Office
The Project Management Office team supports the strategic plans of the business by monitoring projects or programs against larger capital targets; provides expertise, training, and information when sought by project managers; takes an active role in developing policies, promoting best practices, documenting project performance, and analyzing outcomes.

Job Purpose
This role will provide the business leadership for strategic projects within our finance technology strategy; drive project portfolio manager tool implementation; and produce necessary management information reporting, key performance indicators, and capital budget analysis. Role will liaise with the business to improve overall efficiency, effectiveness and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management Office
•Champion best practice PMO initiatives; passionate leader who is able to further develop the organization, its individual members, and achieve strategic initiatives  
•Provides project-related services to support our business units or divisions within the organization including, but not limited to, portfolio management, coordination of governance and reporting, data management, and administrative activities to support the project or program team
•Lead the execution of a PMO governance, portfolio reporting, and framework development in order to provide a holistic view of all organizational project activity 
•Manage interdependencies and coordination across projects to ensure that information relating to project deliverables, risks, and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluated 
•Ability to formulate both practical and innovative solutions to a wide array of complex organizational challenges
•Identify new and innovative project management approaches and tools and embed these in the behavior and day to day activities of the organization’s operations 
•Manage the administration for project submissions and approvals through the agreed prioritization and approval process 
•Collate qualitative and quantitative information on project performance for the preparation and production of project reports for internal management purposes 

Stakeholder Engagement
•Collaborate with business units to structure and execute on initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing meaningful data, leading analyses, developing final recommendations 
•Train, educate, share knowledge on how transformation improves effectiveness and efficiencies, and will boost team moral
•Conduct rapid diagnostic and/or detailed due diligence to articulate opportunity impact, timing and other parameters
•Create and manage a measurement system to track effectiveness, utilization and proficiency of individual project efforts
•Foster collaborative and mutually supportive relationships with our leadership team, project leaders and senior stakeholders

Financials & Benefits Realization 
•Liaise closely with different business units to ensure financial transparency across portfolio and project plans and to govern capital budget monitoring processes are upheld
•Conducts preliminary analysis, and produce necessary MIS, KPI’s, and financial reporting required to support project portfolios
•Ensure a robust process of notification or escalation is in place to report on both underspend and potential overspend with the appropriate approvals sought for either situation 
•Track and monitor benefits realization against planned targets 

Facilitate Process Improvements
•Proactively engage with PMO Manager, senior leadership, and business partners to identify process improvement opportunities
•Look at new skills and techniques that could be used within the team to improve business analysis
•Share project information knowledge and domain expertise across business partners globally
•Develop advanced reporting and collaboration solutions to foster new styles of working in a Digital work environment

Execution & Delivery
•Quality: Define and enforce management reporting best practices; standardize business processes and accountability check points; define data governance across multiple accounting applications; incorporate automation to eliminate manual entry processes; manage scale with on-going  accuracy assessments
•Consistency:  Incorporate consistent delivery approach across portfolio; eliminate redundancies and duplicative processes; produce a reporting schedule and socialize reporting deadlines; introduce service level agreement expectations; measure SLA execution times for ensuring consistency
•Workflow:  Rationalize, modernize, and streamline communication messaging house; ensure communication channels are aligned to partner expectations; map deliverables to a workflow and improve processes whenever possible; eliminate friction, hand-offs, and bottlenecks; improve overall end to end user experience 
•Reporting:  Ensure reporting deliverables are accurate, consistent, and timely; explore other innovative tool kits and products within the bank; promote PMO ownership to product execs, product leads, and work streams; deliver internal exception/issue log reporting to our management team; create training program for new partner on-boarding
Experience and Qualifications
•Extensive Project Management Office experience.
•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with demonstrated high academic achievement, MBA or Advanced Degree a plus
•Project management certification is a plus
•Background in change management, project management, organizational design, operational models, process optimization and business case development
•Expert MS Project skills, Also MS word, Excel, PowerPoint
•Proficiency working with project management software (e.g., CA PPM, MS Project, SharePoint) to build and manage schedules, project financials and dashboard reporting
•Working knowledge of business intelligence solutions (Alteryx, PowerBI, SAS, Tableau, etc)
•Proven track record of delivering change programs successfully
•Expertise knowledge on Project Management in the areas of Project Planning, Scopes Optimization with Risk Mitigation, Cost Control and Communication Management
•Experience identifying appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure key financial & delivery metrics are achieved in accordance to planned targets
