This position will be for a Sr. Consultant within an established team of Project Portfolio Managers responsible for managing a portfolio of projects on behalf of the Project Management Office. 
The Project Management Office (PMO) helps manage and prioritize a portfolio of key initiatives on behalf of stakeholders resulting in monitoring projects or programs against larger capital targets. The team is also responsible for oversight and driving governance for planning, execution, control and completion of a single / multiple programs and/or portfolio(s) of varying complexity, often times supporting multiple business areas/partners. In addition, this role produces the necessary MIS and financial reports required to support the project portfolios across the enterprise.  

General Role Guidelines/Expectations
• Ability to operate independently and develop in-depth knowledge of specific business unit(s)/function.
• Will be responsible for direct interaction with executive stakeholders across multiple councils and project/program meetings.
• Act as a trusted advisor to build and maintain empowered partnerships with IT and business leaders.
• Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult. 
• Manage/assist in portfolio level activities like portfolio reporting health reviews, and project intake, prioritization and governance.
• Act as a change agent for the continuous improvement of PMO methodologies, standards, tools, and policies.
• Help to Identify trends and opportunities to improve the management of project financials, timelines, resources, and delivery quality.
• Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
• Other duties or ad-hoc reporting as needed. 

Your Knowledge and Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years equivalent work experience is required.
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel and Access are required. 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with acute attention to detail is required.
• Current/Previous experience with Clarity PPM in an EPMO/Governance role is preferred.
• In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge regarding PMO best practices, processes and SDLC preferred with a particular focus on understanding of planning, portfolio management, and program management methodologies preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
