Role/ Department:
The Centre of Excellence (COE) team is part of the Productivity organization and has broad responsibility for identifying and driving global, cross functional process improvement opportunities using a variety of optimization techniques.
The department uses Enlighten, Lean Six Sigma and other change management Improvement methods to impact benefit levers of cost, quality, and risk.
Enlighten Software is a productivity tool, that focus on Productivity, Utilization & Efficiency.
It analyses data to assist management in making informed decision to maximize benefits and resources.
The Senior Consultant role is part of the COE team and will be responsible for rolling out Enlighten tool across different departments within/across the regions. This role also will identify areas of measurable improvements across the levers of Productivity, Utilization & Efficiency to reap benefits.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Primary responsibility is to work closely with operations team as well as enlighten contractors to implement enlighten program across department.
- Operates independently; gain in-depth knowledge of enlighten tool (post training period)
- Understand & setup enlighten program to achieve department goals
- Provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting to teams and partners
- Helps operations teams on day to day change requests & train the champions across operations
- Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
- Work in tandem with Business Sponsors and Stakeholders to understand business vision and objectives in order to define, create and implement business process improvements that will drive efficiencies across the Organization
- Responsible for analysis, facilitation, training's, mentoring, project reporting and providing recommendations for process improvements that will improve quality, reduce costs and establish appropriate process metrics and improve process controls.
- Ensure benefit delivery as per financial and non-financial targets in individual and managed projects through effective implementation and change management
- Evaluate existing business and operational flows and define the As-Is process models and To-Be process models for business process re-engineering initiatives, demonstrating commitment to the company’s vision and business strategies/objectives.
- Ensure a coordinated, consistent and effective delivery and benefit measurement plan, by planning and working with business and project teams.
- Re-engineer processes to ensure that client needs are met and efficient processes are in place.
- Ensure integrity and consistency in all initiatives and allocated task
The successful candidate will benefit from having a fair amount of the following qualities:
- A college or university degree in a relevant field of study
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is required; Black Belt training or certification is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in change management, process optimization or process re-engineering
- Prior financial services experience is desirable
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping, process improvement and operational change skills.
- Excellent communication skills; oral, written and non-verbal
- Demonstrated experience in negotiation and conflict management
- Project management skills
