Identifies, develops and negotiates strategic relationships with product development within business units and technological partners. Coordinates with marketing, sales and product development teams to implement business product development initiatives ensuring products and services technology solutions are aligned with business strategies. Identifies opportunities to apply technology solutions to business processes or strategies. Responsible for working with clients and partners on product implementation and maintenance.

 

Major Duties

1. Coordinates business product development and design efforts with information technology solutions in order to meet client and market needs.

 

2. Works closely with marketing, sales or product development to understand, define, document and build business requirements in order to implement business product initiatives.

 

3. Creates detailed business specifications based on business requirements and communicates business specifications to information technology partners.

 

4. Works with clients and partners on product implementation and maintenance. Analyzes, recommends and implements solutions to product development or information technology problems.

 

5. Manages projects coordinating project activities and ensuring projects are executed from vision to implementation. Ensures project deadlines and schedules are met. Leads cross-functional work teams as necessary.

 

6. Keeps abreast of new and existing bank products and services and market trends in order to meet the clients' needs.


Knowledge / Skills

 

  • Strong understanding of business functions, products and processes in following areas, marketing, financial operations and product development.

  • In-depth knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within technology field.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively articulate business requirements and specifications.

  • Strong project management and negotiation skills required.

 

Experience Required

  • 5 or more years of related work experience in business, financial operations or marketing.

  • Management and / or information technology within financial services.
