Senior Analyst, Securities Lending
SUMMARY
Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for reconciliations and earnings processing for Securities Lending. Demonstrates a clear understanding of the securities lending product and the process flow followed. Works with both direct and indirect teams in an environment that encourages employee participation, engagement, and effective communication. Candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to meet tight deadlines. Candidate will maintain established operational control processes of the operating group in accordance with the highest standards and best practices.
MAJOR DUTIES
1. Reconcile, monitor, and verify internal account balances.
2. Release monthly income from cash collateral reinvestment pools.
3. Prepare monthly reporting related to earnings period.
4. Update borrower credit limits as instructed.
5. Process payment instructions received via authenticated wire systems.
6. Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and / or internal business impact.
7. Deliver a work product that requires less revision.
8. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
* Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel and Access.
* More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas.
* Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
College degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field and / or relevant Securities Operations work experience
