Responsibilities:


The job holder is responsible in the preparation of AIFMD Regulatory Reports on a cyclical basis (for example; quarterly, semi-annual or annually) in accordance with regulatory guidelines.  The preparation is based on a set processes/procedure and the job holder will be required to adhere to these processes in completing day to day tasks. Ensure all reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner. The end deliverable is shared with the Home location (Ireland).


Due to the cyclical nature of the activities, it is anticipated that there will be peak periods of work and the job holder may be required to undertake additional working hours to ensure tasks are completed to the appropriate deadlines.

 

The job holder is also expected to train and act as a mentor to junior members of team.  Expected to contribute to process improvement and automation within the AIFMD Reporting process. Support transition of activities in accordance with risk and control requirements and work closely with the Team Leader and Section Manager to ensure seamless transition of knowledge from home location.

  • Deliver high quality service to customers by accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks (which may be parts of larger processes) and requests for information.

  • Ensure the new launches/terminations are updated in the templates prior to reporting cycle.

  • Compile and validate the fund data from various teams. Ensure the data is as per AIFMD standards

  • Ensure client specific procedures are followed while preparing the reports

  • Prepare final AIF & AIFM reports for submission

  • Perform tasks under supervision of defined processes or procedures and check for errors. 

  • Seek to learn quickly and continually improve service offered.

  • Assist other colleagues as appropriate.  Act as effective team member within the unit and with other units by imparting knowledge as appropriate 

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in preparation of financial statements, regulatory reports, client and board reports of a Hedge Fund, Mutual Fund or financial institution

  • Background in regulatory / statutory reporting will be preferred

  • Minimum of 18 months experience in the process area

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
