The Senior Analyst will be a key member of the Management Reporting, Planning and Analysis division of the Finance department. Responsible for acting as a lead contributor in the development and execution of quality risk-based projections for the Corporation. Resolves complex issues in balance sheet and income statement forecasts, capital adequacy measures and/or other aspects of risk measurement.  

Major Duties

1. Responsible for development and oversight of analytical results for pre-provision net revenue (PPNR) projection for supervisory stress testing. Ensures regular production of analytical work and documentation.

2. Evaluates existing framework in relation to corporate objectives and industry leading practices. Assesses development needs and manages process to achieve desired future state.

3. Acts as PPNR subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting to team and partners throughout the company at a high technical level.
 
4. Operates independently and as a team member. Acts as contact for senior management, audit, and business unit teams.

5. Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.

6. Responsible for direct interaction with key governance committees. 
Qualifications:

5 - 8 years of related experience in financial services or wealth management sectors with emphasis on management reporting, data analytics, planning, and forecasting. 

Analytical and problem solving skills required to evaluate financial results and projections. 

Project and time management skills.  

Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary to present relevant information to senior management and business unit officers. 

Technical skills / systems knowledge – SAS, R or Python experience is required.

Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of risk concepts and quantitative modeling techniques. 

Familiarity with relevant regulatory mandates such as stress testing, Comprehensive Capital Analysis & Review (CCAR) and Basel III
