Core Skills & Competencies Required:


•Must have strong subject matter expertise/ knowledge of SWIFT instructions/ EURO Link payment systems, various banking regulations.
•Must have good understanding of Debits and Credits including knowledge of VAT and VAT reverse charge accounting.
•Must have knowledge of Yardi PayScan, fund master and GCM.
•Must have a least 2 years previous accounts experience, preferably in a large multinational.
•Demonstrate through examples /evidence excellent written and verbal language skills, ability to independently address technical & non-technical issues
•Working knowledge of Excel including macros/automations within the process
•Sustainable performance demonstrated through examples/evidence, the above listed core skills and competencies in the current role over a period of at least 24 months

 


Major Duties / Key Responsibilities:


Responsible for processing payments volumes at fast pace including but not limited to:

•Invoice registration including receipt of instructions, bank account check, duplicate check, fund check, scanning and indexing of payments onto payment platform
•Vendor workflow including, requesting independent verification, vendor set up on payment platforms
•Invoice verification including, coding of payment and requesting approval
•Suggests improvement projects to streamline the AP process, communicating the value of such projects with critical stakeholders in the P2P process.
•Act in accordance with the company’s Guiding Principles and adherence to the corporate Code of Conduct.
•Compliance to all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies.
•To identify efficiencies and area’s for improvement to reduce risk and become more efficient
•Ensuring that technology available is being fully utilized in the most efficient manner
•To ensure full and proper reporting to the manager of any operational issues
