What you will do

The core responsibility of this role is to act as an Account Manager within the Securities Lending Relationship Management and Sales team based in APAC.  The Account Management team is responsible for servicing and sales support for all clients within Northern Trust’s Securities Lending business in the Asia Pacific region.  The role will report to the Manager of Account Managers based in Singapore. There will be a close working relationship with relevant client Relationship Managers and the rest of the team in Singapore and London.

 

  1. Primary day to day contact for  regional client base
  2. Initiates, monitors and completes account opening and closing procedures with responsibility for ensuring that all client documentation is completed in a timely manner
  3. Monitor to ensure that all client deliverables are met
  4. Project management of restructure or transition activity
  5. Maintenance of client legal filing and documentation requirements
  6. Collate client information for revenue assessment
  7. Liaising with appropriate internal partners where appropriate and ensuring resolution to queries in agreed timeframes and a strong ability to work in a global delivery model
  8. Identify process improvement opportunities and operating efficiencies
  9. Day to day performance management of outsourced processes and personnel

Your Knowledge/Skills:

You will be educated to University degree level with 4 to 7 years experience gained within financial services, preferably a knowledge of the client sector and/or Securities Lending. You will have the ability to develop strong professional and personal relationships with external and internal contacts.  You can demonstrate an ability to manage a challenging workload, multitask effectively, with an aptitude to working under pressure in a fast paced environment. You will demonstrate dedication, commitment and tenacity to get work completed accurately and on time. Creative problem solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify, recommend and implement solutions will be advantageous.
