Role Overview


Under general supervision monitors compliance with various risk programs, specifically the risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) program. Detects and advises management of potential risk issues and recommends procedural changes to mitigate risk.  Researches and develops solutions for issues being addressed by the department.  Interprets and clarifies policies and procedures in order to respond to inquiries and requests for information.  


Major Duties

  1. Participates in administration of the RCSA program across the organization, including annual planning, scheduling, and effective challenge of self-assessment results provided by stakeholders.

  2. Contributes to development of policies and procedures in support of operational risk programs.

  3. Monitors and reviews operational risk procedures and practices of partners to assure compliance and adherence to internal policies.

  4. Detects and advises management of potential risk and may recommend changes and/or enhancements to improve efficiencies in procedures.

  5. Researches and develops analytical reports and solutions for issues being addressed by the department.

  6. Participates in training partners and delivering communications on applicable risk regulations. 

  7. Coordinates and/or performs activities of designated operational risk initiatives.

  8. Responds to internal and external inquiries and requests for information.

  9. Attends seminars to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new issues and regulatory developments.

  10. Works towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job.

  11. Can work effectively as a team member and independently.  





Knowledge/Skills

  • Working knowledge of the risks inherent in our business. 
  • Analytical and communication skills required to summarize and analyze information and liaise with various stakeholders across the organization. 
  • Organizational skills required to coordinate risk related activities. 
  • Prior experience with RCSA programs a plus.  


Experience Required

  • 5 years of related experience.  
  • Bachelor's Degree

Work Schedule

  • 4PM-1AM M-F
