Description

Global Fund Services is comprised of multiple service teams that service investment managers and internally manage client relationships around the world. On the service team, the Client Service Representative (CSR) acts as the primary point of contact for our client relationships. Additionally, the CSR is looked upon to demonstrate their leadership on the service team by working on relationships of greater complexity and offering support to new hires and representatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary contact for investment management firms on domestic and/or international trade communication and settlement issues relating to client accounts held at the Bank. 
  • Responsible for daily cash management of multiple currencies for international portfolios. Determines appropriate cash management action to take. Initiate foreign exchange and call account activity for client accounts
  • Coordinates daily with investment managers regarding client account activities. Informs managers of any exceptions and proposed steps for resolutions
  • Identifies service efficiency enhancements, process improvements and service delivery using creative and proactive measures
  • Researches and resolves processing inquiries and prepares correcting entries including reversals and rejects.
  • Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts
  • Works effectively as a team member but also independently 
  • Knowledgeable of the core aspects of the job
  • Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job

Required Knowledge/Skills

  • Good oral and written communication skills are required
  • Analytical and problem solving skills are required. 
  • Organizational skills are required to manage conflicting priorities and multitask functions in a fast-paced team environment


Preferred Knowledge/Skills

  • Related Industry qualification/ or studying towards, is preferred 
  • Basic securities industry knowledge is preferred
Qualifications

A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred.
