Performance evaluation and the monitoring and measurement of portfolio risk are undertaken by a specialist department within Corporate and Institutional Services (C&IS) known as Investment Risk and Analytical Services (IRAS). IRAS offers clients a comprehensive product array, supported by powerful technology and delivered by an experienced group of professionals.

Investment Risk and Analytical Services (IRAS) teams are organized regionally to support the corporate client base throughout the globe


Role


Responsible for managing an analytical products client servicing operations of a process(es).
Supports the Operations Manager to develop the strategic plan. Works with clients to provide on-going satisfaction with investment services.


•Manages a performance analytics client servicing unit or function.
•Management and oversight of service delivery with emphasis on market developments, compliance requirements and strategic change.
•Ensure a strong risk and control culture exists amongst the team such that operational risk is inherently reduced and any potential risk situations are promptly identified and escalated.
•Works with clients to provide on-going satisfaction of investment services.  Oversees support staff and production process. Oversees and develops complex analytical products and services to clients.
•Provides leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication
•Management of a group of team leaders within the IRAS team. Performance management and career development processes ensuring team engagement and talent progression. This includes providing input for staffing and disciplinary actions and hands-on training to staff
•Provides a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising

 

Qualifications


A College or University degree or relevant industry certification and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred
Knowledge of investment vehicles, laws, and regulations and economic conditions that affect investments in order to provide services to clients.

Experience :


•Experience of 36+ months in a people manager role OR 9 + years of overall industry experience which includes at least 36 months in a people manager role
•Managerial and Domain experience in Custody /Investment Banking Operations is preferred
•An in-depth background/exposure to managing team (including conflict resolution, problem solving) is essential.
