The Manager, Investment Risk serves as a senior investment risk resource within Asset Management (AM). Additional responsibilities will be working with AM investment professionals and senior AM risk leadership team to understand and meet investment risk objectives. 

1. Support the build out of the Investment Risk Framework designing and overseeing the risk analysis on quantitative based investment strategies including factor based strategies, multi-asset class strategies and ETFs. 

2. Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors and ensures timely and accurate completion of work of analysts supporting equity, ETF and multi-asset class strategies. 

3. Responsible for quantitative risk analysis within AM and training and development of analysts to meet the analytical needs of the business. Provide deep dives on assigned investment strategies to the AM Risk Committee. 

4. Expand the use of quantitative risk analysis throughout AM and export the best practices to other investment applications within the bank. 

5. Primary responsibility for independent risk management oversight of Equities within AM and the development of analysts’ supporting equity risk analysis. 

6. Ensures the integrity of assumptions and use of relevant models used in the investment process within AM.
5 to 7 years of investment risk analysis experience. 

Experience with quantitative models preferred. 

CFA and/or advanced degree are preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Knowledge of investment products, markets and quantitative analytical techniques.

Knowledge of equity markets is preferred, but the role can be modified to accommodate candidates with a strong fixed income background.

Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop objectives and goals.
