This highly visible role will be responsible for managing Banking Operations/Client Servicing teams overseeing account opening and maintenance,  reviewing status on existing accounts, and managing client and account holder contact. Manages both managers and individual contributors, conducting performance management, career development, and staffing/disciplinary actions. Role is balanced between operational execution and input on the strategic direction of the business and budget. .

  1. Helps manage the development and successful implementation of systems, processes and projects.
  2. Assists management with the successful identification, assessment, monitoring and control of risk issues within the group.
  3. Ensures sufficient coverage of all tasks is maintained within the team, including identifying and training partners as necessary.
  4. Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions, and provides hands-on training to staff.
  5. Manages a telephone contact center, including integration between all phone systems and the data platform, ensuring a seamless call process for all clients and their customers.
  6. Manages phone call monitoring programs to ensure the highest customer care goals are met. 
  7. Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.
  8. Carries out activities that are large in scope, cross-functional and technically difficult.
  9. Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management.
  10. Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas.
  11. Provides input and support to budget management process.
  • A College or University degree and proven Banking Operations work experience is preferred.
  • Related Industry experience is preferred.
  • Leadership and organizational skills are required to develop periodic goals and to manage and motivate team members towards the goals set.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • In-depth banking knowledge is required, as are analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills are required.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
