As a Lead Product Manager for Goals-Driven Wealth Management,

you are responsible for delivering a best-in-class goals-driven wealth management solution.

Accordingly, you will set the vision, define the strategy and execute delivery of a modern and intuitive goals-based planning framework that ensures our clients have an investment plan tailored to their needs regardless of any market environment.

You lead a team of Product Managers and provide guidance to deliver Northern Trust’s award-winning personal client experience through a digital medium

. You are dedicated to continuous improvement and current on fast changing technology as well as delivery best practices.

You are caught up on industry trends in client development frameworks and anticipate what the near future will bring.

You love clean interfaces and have a passion for extraordinary user experience.

Furthermore, you:

 Seek to continually understand client needs, target markets, financial planning methodologies, business goals, and the competitive landscape to shape the product vision and roadmap

 Cultivate relationships and influence with key stakeholders, internal clients and leaders across multiple disciplines

 Have a proven track record of managing, leading, coaching and developing a team of product managers

 Have experience in long-term planning and governance to manage the profitability and performance of a portfolio of products

 Have excellent oral/written communication skills and can distill complex topics into management-ready materials

 Have 7+ years work experience in software development, product development and/or financial services role

 Have work experience in and domain knowledge of multi-goal financial planning

As a Lead Product Manager for Goal-driven Wealth Management,

you will:

 Define and articulate the product vision, roadmap, and value proposition of Goals-driven Wealth Management solution in response to evolving client/market needs, best practices of financial planning, competitive landscape, and business strategy

 Follow the practices of lean product management to validate assumptions and make data driven decisions to actively shape Minimum Viable Products and Feature/Story Backlog

 Develop a high-performing team of empowered product managers that attain and continuously improve OKRs/KPIs related to Products, Clients, and Productivity

 Align key stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including but not limited to business leads, architects, designers, and engineers, to realize the vision and value proposition

 Lead by example to maximize the value of emerging innovations e.g., machine learning/AI, behavioral finance, design thinking, and cloud computing

 Act first and foremost in the best interests of our clients who have placed their trust and confidence in us to administer their wealth
