Asset Servicing Custody (AS Custody) has an immediate opening for a Technical Coordinator.  Reporting to the Client Service Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining and sustaining IM/Client relationships, delivery of daily service, managing operational risk, interfacing with internal partner areas to address issues, assisting with the implementation of process improvements, acting as a technical resource for members of the team and acting as an escalation contact for internal and external partners.
 
Responsibilities:
-Provide leadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
-Analytically and procedurally competent, representing the team on cross-function process or project deliverable.
-Focus on resolution of complex inquiries and escalations where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines, and/or processes.  Facilitate solutions that ensure operational excellence. 
-Work with the Client Service Manager (CSM) to ensure staff is trained and updated on new or existing products and services.
-Work closely with partner areas to ensure smooth service delivery and actively participate in projects that improve IM satisfaction or efficiency.
-Provide input on career development opportunities for staff. 
-Document and maintain any IM/Client specific processes on the team.


Skills and Experience:
-Extensive knowledge of trust, asset management, custody or other relevant financial services industry operations is required to manage the overall daily service delivery.
-Skills in negotiation, delegation, leadership, client service, risk management, organizational and problem solving are required.
-Possesses advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
-Uses significant judgment and makes independent decisions
-Effective communication skills; strong writing ability and may engage in IM presentations.
-Pursues self –development; may be a subject matter expert.
-Working knowledge of Fundmaster, IMS, Lotus Notes, Passport Reporting and Sherlock, and TLM UK and US preferred.
-Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in client servicing and/or financial service operations; preferably 2 years of IMLG experience.
