Job Title:  Consultant Information Delivery, Hedge Fund Services 

Summary: 

Responsible for supporting the testing, implementation and maintenance of data and reporting solutions that meet the requirements of external clients and internal partners.  Partner would be required to work a later shift of approximately 11 A.M. – 7 P.M. (to be adjusted accordingly during daylight savings). 

Roles & Responsibilities: 
  1. Prepares system specifications for proposed automated processes and systems enhancements. 
  2. Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of new processes, systems and/or modifications to existing solutions. Coordinates testing of new systems and systems modifications.
  3. Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and work with various support teams to implement solutions.
  4. Configure and support back-end infrastructure for the report delivery process
  5. Perform functional and regression testing for ongoing developments.
  6. Maintain up-to-date process and procedure documentation that governs and guides the information delivery function. 
Qualifications: 
  • 3+ years related work experience within financial services and/or information technology. 
  • Technical knowledge of daily financial and/or investment industry usually acquired through experience in related areas is required to design process improvements and provide support. 
  • Knowledge of systems and technological capabilities usually acquired through formal training or experience 
  • Analytical and communication skills are required to evaluate effectiveness of processes, and to redesign or implement changes. 
  • Prior experience with data modeling; knowledge of data warehouse concepts (i.e. Star, columnar vs. row, In-Memory)
  • Preferred technical skills – SQL, VBA, Python, Tableau, Microsoft SSRS/Power BI
