Description:

The Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services (NTHFS) Information Delivery team combines technical and business knowledge to support our internal and external clients. This role will focus on creating standard and bespoke middle and back office reports for internal users and clients, utilizing a proprietary reporting tool. The individual will work closely with clients and members of the shared service and IT teams within the NTHFS organization.  

Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Day to day support of client reporting requests.  Frequent interaction with clients via email and phone
  • Work with shared service teams and IT to enhance the reporting tool and related data models
  • Troubleshoot report and delivery issues to ensure timely and high quality client service
  • Provide support for ongoing application development, testing and releases and communicate changes to the user community
  • Provide analysis, scoping and estimated delivery timelines for larger scale client requests
  • Maintain up-to-date processes and procedure documents that govern and guide in the report management process
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and assist with break-fix solutions
  • Create custom reports based on client specifications
Qualifications:
  • 1-3+ years professional experience
  • Team focused individual with a strong work ethic
  • Strong focus on high quality client service
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technology
  • Ability to multi-task and meet on-going time sensitive deadlines 
  • Previous experience working in financial services desired
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or related experience strongly preferred 
  • PowerBI, SSRS, SSAS, SQL, etc. experience a plus
