Under general supervision (but works independently), responsible for being the lead on both simpler and more complex projects surrounding product and trading data stewardship. The Trade Support & Product Operations function is responsible for the daily management of product data in Client Operations systems as well as the strategic transformation of existing product data functions into future state scalable solutions for the enterprise. Role is additionally responsible for strategic business analysis of current and future trade platform changes required to best surround product operations. Role creates change by integrating new and scalable processes with existing ones, communicating these changes and managing product data in accordance with implemented procedures and has the opportunity to grow to a management position.

The key responsibilities of the role include: 
  • Coordinates and leads execution of product data in conjunction with relevant internal business partners and stakeholders with a critical eye on risk.
  • Coordinates and leads integration of product data and trade flow  management within the future state trading platform, envisioning, architecting and engineering the future state platform. 
  • Works closely with product, business architecture, client operations, and project managers to ensure potential solutions are viable.
  • Assists in drafting of Business Requirement Documents and serves as lead point of contact for technology on product data and trade platform changes to existing and future systems
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on trade operations and product data 
  • Works with partners on product implementation and maintenance. May analyze, recommend and implement solutions to product development or information technology problems.
  • Demonstrate an ability to analyze complex business/technical problems and make sound technical decisions proactively and in a self-directed manner.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly flexible, independent and adaptable
  • In-depth functional/industry knowledge is required
  • Architect business process and data 
  • Understand, write and query via SQL, XML, Microsoft Access and Stylesheets preferred
  • 3-7 years related work experience in financial operations, financial Information Technology, or Business Analysis.
