Summary:

This requirement is for Global Reconciliations operations team.

Daily responsibilities will be project management in nature. Good business understanding of securities markets, Reconciliations and related systems will be required. The candidate should have good documentation and project management knowledge and should be able to work through multiple or at times conflicting priorities with an eye for detail. 

The candidate would be responsible for leading and managing a variety of migration related activities which are global in nature for teams integrating to Reconciliations.   

Should be well versed with project management techniques and possess effective communication and presentation skills. 

In addition to this, innovative thought process to provide tactical as well as strategic solutions to business teams is expected.


Major Duties
1. Project managing a variety of migration projects impacting or initiated by Reconciliations.
2. Ability to develop a plan and monitor activities that are necessary to complete business analysis effort by identifying stakeholders.
3. Complete side by side reconciliation review to clearly define/ identify the reconciliation that can be integrated within Global reconciliation
4. Ability to assess & clearly define the FTE impacts through the process
5. Provide leadership in identifying and understanding business need defines the need and develop solution scope that can be implemented.
6. Co-ordinate across multiple groups including donor processing areas projects & Training and escalate as necessary to ensure timely completion of projects
7. Through the project implementation, ensure all requirements of the migration governance are being followed ( Documentation/ Service Desc, BCP etc)
8. Constantly track the progress and release of management  dashboards
9. Technical experts without management responsibilities, seen as advisors to the business
10. Time management and prioritization of tasks and projects
11. Keeps abreast of the changing and evolving landscape within the business unit and the markets


Knowledge / Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication & presentation skills
• Eye for detail with the ability to work through multiple priorities and demands
• Good to excellent  knowledge of Asset and Cash reconciliation end to end activities including systems used
• Northern Trust Savvy – Has a good understanding  of NT Custody  & GF S business
• Understands and can comprehend the risks associated and apply it within the in-scope projects
• Independent worker that does not require a lot of handholding – some of them will have to step up and own waves of implementation once they are trained so it’s absolutely essential that they are comfortable doing that.

Experience


 24 Months as a Technical Coordinator /Associate Consultant to move as a Team Leader /Consultant


 Movement within TL and Consultant Level will be 12 months


A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred. 


Current experience in managing projects will be an added advantage
Should have current working experience of at least within the Reconciliation or Securities operations area for 6+years
