Role Overview

Under general supervision (but works independently most of the time) responsible for being the lead on small, less complex projects or part of large complex projects. The Business Process Management function is responsible for an end-to-end process analysis and design with an understanding of technical and operating challenges and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment. Role creates process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes. Subject matter expertise is beneficial. Typically would have some type of certification such as six sigma. 


Responsibilities

1. Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact 
2. May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management  
3. Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees
4. May manage daily operational activities and supervise day-to-day work of junior level employees (but not a formal management role)  
5. More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas 
6. Delivers a work product that requires less revision 
7. Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions

Qualifications

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred at least 5 years
  • More technically sound in area of expertise with broader knowledge of other areas.  
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (required); Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required 
  • In-depth Functional / Industry Knowledge is required 
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change 
  • Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact. 
  • Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.
