Summary
The Clarity PPM Product Owner role will be responsible for the product management of the Clarity PPM.  As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and implementation of Clarity PPM functionality at Northern Trust, including: gathering and prioritizing requirements, leading backlog feature implementation, defining the Clarity PPM roadmap and backlog, and working closely with technology, finance, key business stakeholders ,support, and vendor to ensure partner satisfaction and enterprise goals are met.

Major Duties
•    Act as the CLarity PPM product expert 
•    Engage in product strategy and roadmap, incorporating business objectives and delivering value to partners
•    Business lead for Clarity PPM changes and software updates
•    Evaluate efficiency of use; suggest changes and take in partner requests
•    Communicate long-term vision and short-term commitments to key internal stakeholders
•    Own and update policies, procedures and training materials
•    Work closely with vendor to understand upgrade lifecycle, license management, and product feature functionality
•    Effectively liaise with Technology, Finance, Support and Vendor to address questions and/or respond to issues that arise
•    Act as a seasoned, multi-disciplinary professional with extensive technical and/or business knowledge and functional expertise
•    Consistently display a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business as warranted to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
•    Lead special projects as requested to support the strategic objectives of the organization

Knowledge/Skills
•    Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills
•    Strong negotiation and facilitation skills
•    Knowledge of Clarity PPM tool usually acquired through related work experience , preferred
•    Resourcefulness to proactively obtain relevant information and perspectives
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, global environment 
•    Highly flexible and organized to successfully juggle multiple, competing priorities
•    Process-oriented 
•    Excellent organizational, analytical, conflict management and negotiation skills  
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


Experience
7 plus years in an individual contributor or manager role which included responsibility for financial and process analysis.  Prior Product Management experience is preferred.  Experience with IT is preferred.
