POSITION SUMMARY  

Emotomy, a B2B SaaS platform and wholly owned subsidiary of Northern Trust Investments, enables financial professionals to provide scalable personalized advice to their end clients. We offer a highly customizable digital platform with robust portfolio construction capabilities, backed by NTAM investment solutions and thought leadership.

The Emotomy Business Development team is responsible for growing, developing and closing new business for Emotomy.  As a Business Development Representative for Emotomy you are an integral part of the team’s overall success. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying opportunities, managing inbound leads, executing on outbound activities and managing the top of the sales funnel.  In addition, you may assist in servicing and training current clients, developing additional business, making client presentations, and coordinating with the business and technology teams to provide insight into the product roadmap.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and develop qualified client relationship opportunities through email and phone calls
  • Adequately understand prospective clients’ business objectives and situation to identify where Emotomy help them achieve their goals
  • Build, grow and maintain a pipeline of new business
  • Own the client sales Lifecyle from initial contact through demo and contracting
  • Deliver a strong understanding of our target market, industry knowledge, Emotomy and Northern Trust value proposition
  • Assists the team in developing additional business, making client presentations, and coordinating client engagement
  • Maintain and update required data in company software/tools (Salesforce, confluence, etc.)

 

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • Minimum of 2 years in Fin Tech, financial services or equivalent
  • Series 7 and Series 65/66 licensed or able to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Results driven, self-motivated individual who has a deep desire to win, but is not afraid to lose
  • Intellectually curious, team player who is strategically driven and wants to be part of a collaborative team environment
  • Change agent and status-quo buster who can be adaptable and nimble in an ever changing market environment
