• Full time Bachelors or Master’s degree required. BC Industry certifications from Business Continuity Institute / Disaster Recovery Institute or similar organisations preferred. 
• Overall work experience of 12 – 15 years and at least 10 - 12 years of risk/ control related experience in one or all of the disciplines including Business Resiliency, Disaster Recovery, Operational Risk oversight, Program Management or Operations Control is desirable. 
• Financial services sector industry experience heading the Business Continuity function for a country with multiple sites is an advantage. 
• Able to work independently with minimal oversight and has a sound knowledge of resiliency and the evolving industry trends 
• Knowledge of regulations impacting business resiliency across various jurisdictions and prior experience of interacting with regulators. 
• Proven ability to work with and influence the leaders within organisation to enhance the resiliency posture with an eye on future. Strong persuasion and data analytical skills required. 
• Problem solving skills – Ability to gather data from appropriate and varied sources, consider all facts, conduct analysis, draw sound inferences and act decisively. 
• Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements for financial institutions regarding BC and DR programs a plus.  
• Coaching and leading teams and developing talent to achieve business objectives.
