Role

This is an exciting new role for our growing offices in Amsterdam.  The incumbent will be the principle point of contact for Northern Trust Custody clients - taking performance, risk and compliance services.


They will also play a leading role in the continued product development for all performance measurement and analytical capabilities.


Principal Responsibilities
• Consult with clients on all aspects of their Investment decision making

• Support Relationship Managers by providing technical expertise and attending client meetings

• Understanding of client objectives, investment strategy, and general investment issues

• Involvement in production of scheduled reporting – monthly and quarterly. Responsible for the quality reviews of assigned monthly reporting clients.

• Support the assigned Senior Consultant with the production of Dutch regulatory reporting (ftk).

• Present performance results in accordance with client requirements

• Participate in continued development of performance measurement capabilities and subsequent implementation into ongoing client deliverables

• The consultant will be able to identify cross selling opportunities for Compliance, Risk Management, Private Equity or any future IRAS products.

• The consultant will be able to give a high level presentation on all current and future IRAS products.

• Sustain high level of Northern Trust systems, investment instruments / markets and market trends in performance measurement and risk

• Ensure operational processes and efficiencies are maximised

• Participate in training initiatives for clients and internal partners

• Act as mentor for IRAS Analysts

Skills / Experience

• Experience within a performance and risk function, with proven client facing exposure:

• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments and portfolio management

• Strong PC skills

• Flexible approach

• Good team player

• Time management skills
