Role Overview

The Privacy analyst is responsible for the review and investigation of global privacy incidents. In addition, support the administration of other designated privacy related program activities and applications. Highly organized, confident, articulate and a task oriented individual that pays attention to detail and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Time management is essential. Must have ability to interface with all levels of management. Amenable to work within EMEA timezone.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for review and investigation of daily privacy incident reports submitted to the team.
  • Determine privacy incident that may require escalation.
  • Ensure that privacy incidents are review in a timely manner.  Escalate when schedules are not met. 
  • Interfacing with compliance officers, business management, legal, and other stakeholders to complete privacy incidents root analysis.
  • Recommend improvements to privacy incident processes and applications
  • Prepare reporting (metrics) on privacy incidents, including items escalated. 
  • Perform other designated compliance program activities and support the administration of other compliance applications, as directed. 
  • Maintain knowledge of industry practices and regulatory changes relevant to privacy breach notification.



Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection
  • Amenable to a work schedule of 5am-2pm M-F
  • Experience with privacy incident investigation.
  • Risk management and/or compliance background preferred.  Institutional knowledge a definite plus. 
  • Knowledge of the privacy regulations/laws.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Excel. 
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and strong organizational skills are required to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Must be able to develop and articulate strategy for process improvement
  • Works effectively as a team member but can also work independently.

Work Hours
  • 4PM-1AM M-F
