The key responsibilities of the role include:


Under direct supervision responsible for initiating electronic movement of funds, wires transfers, checks and Foreign Exchange involving Trades, dividends, corporate actions, and journal postings.

Facilitate electronic movements of funds and/or foreign exchange processing within defined procedures and timelines.

 

Review faxed and SWIFTed instructions for accuracy to mitigate risk.

Partner effectively with internal teams and external partners for problem resolution, clarification, and procedural requirements.

Process transactions based on foreign market requirements and cut-offs.

Able to process based on 100+ market regulations.

Use strong attention to detail for all instructions received to verify specific requirements are met.

Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines but escalates more complex problems to supervisor/ expert.

Works effectively as a team member but also independently.

Provides support to the team wherever needed.

 

Will be required to work overtime, some holidays and weekends when applicable.

The successful candidate will benefit from having:


College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is preferred.

 

Related Industry qualification / or studying towards, is preferred.

Understanding of banking procedures is preferred.

Prior experience doing reconciliations is preferred.

Good oral and written communication skills are required.

Analytical and problem solving skills are required.

 

Attention to detail is required. Seeking an ability to take ownership, have integrity and be a team player.
