Working independently,  the Alternative Assets Sr. Consultant is responsible for providing expertise and analysis for the Alternative Assets practice initiatives. The responsibilities include ensuring that the assigned initiatives are well designed, executable, and delivered. This role is accountable for ensuring Business initiatives are delivered, driving solutions to address current and future business challenges, and achieving organization objective. Responsible for articulating business requirements by developing specifications for business processes, systems enhancements and development efforts with strong key indicators/trends

Overall Competencies Required:

Process Innovation:
•    Identify and prioritize systems priorities within department.
•    In conjunction with our IT department and our business analysis group help to design solutions that are pragmatic to meet the business need. BLP system enhancement projects. Representing SBKL technology enhancement/streamlining.
•    Initiates or actively participates in efforts to improve process within own control or that impact department success 

Business Goals:
•    Develop early warning techniques for process failures and quality goals through key risk indicators.
•    Reduce rework and errors in line with measurable targets
•    Effectively address and resolve all outstanding audit issues.
•    Improve management information to be more frequent, indicative and complete.
•    Works on special projects, such as gathering, inputting and compiling information for reports as required by management. 
•    Track metrics on system performance, vendor and third party with escalating as necessary. 
•    Client Metrics – SPOC for handling trending issues and working with NA and APAC teams in tracking and resolving the trending issues and client metrics
•    Capacity assessment in regular interval to ensure the operations is well staffed.
•    Designing & monitoring Metrics Pack

Program Operations Readiness/workstream lead:
•    Acts as the conduit between the Operations groups and the program to ensure that the Operational teams are aware of the upcoming releases and impact to their business areas and any risks are raised appropriately
•    Responsible for the Prod deployment notifications for each release and chairing post production support meetings with Ops and the Program partners
•    Oversee the execution of the Ops Readiness tasks for each release at a minimum including procedures, workflows, controls, and BCP updates
•    Organize training for impacted Ops team members for each release
•    Work with C&IS training to agree and support training to be included in NTU
•    Represent Operational Readiness at the program governance forums; Working Group, RAIDD and Planning Meetings
•    Actively manage project risks, actions, issues, and dependencies relating to Operational Readiness ensuring that items are addressed in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:
•    Familiar with AAS Products and business model.
•    Expertise in handling client calls, external calls with Clients or 3rd party Fund Managers/Investment Managers. 
•    Client servicing/facing exposure with experience in dealing with internal and external clients independently.
•    Department and Stakeholder Management
•    Establishes and develops strong working relationships and open communication with the leadership, change and Managers of Alternative Asset Services
•    Highly flexible and adaptable to change 
•    Hands on Experience in managing projects & key business initiatives.

Skills/Experience
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
•    Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
•    Audit experience is not required, but understanding of audit-related and internal control topics is preferred
•    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Finance, Statistics, or Accounting is preferred, but not required
•    2+ years of project/change experience is preferred.
•    Knowledge of concepts and tools in data analytics is preferred
