A College or University degree and experience as a coach (not while also performing other roles such as Scrum Master) in addition to experience as an agile team member or Scrum Master. Experience with various Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe, etc.) at an advanced level and experience with Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (JIRA, Rally, VersionOne, etc.) preferred. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills are required with time management and individual and team building skills. Advanced interpersonal skills that help to establish strong working relationships and promote bi-directional communication within and across teams and programs. Advanced understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall, etc.) and software development life cycle including planning, development, quality assurance, change management and release management. Advanced knowledge and experience with Agile techniques such as continuous integration, automated testing, test-first approaches such as TDD, ATDD, etc., pairing, Agile games, etc. Advanced skills in facilitation, continuous improvement, empowerment, transparency, building trust and servant leadership. Able to organize, moderate and demonstrate Agile industry best practices. Ability to apply advanced principles, theories and experiences, and contribute to the development of innovative ideas and practices. Ability to effectively facilitate discussions at various levels and suggest alternative approaches and effectively manage challenging situations through negotiation and conflict resolution. Leadership and organizational skills are required to determine the Business Unit's goals, resources needed, and to assess and develop the skills of staff.
